The DIY Aquarium caught up with Allan Semeit at the Southwest Aquatic Society’s Swap Meet. He confirmed that the 2026 Southwest Aquarium Keepers Event will be keeping to the 2025 schedule format. The order of the speakers has not yet been confirmed. We will update as new information is released.

8:00 AM Set up begins – Volunteers set up Silent Auction and raffle tables; etc..
8:30 Webb Room doors open for attendee registration. All participants should go here first.
8:30 Powell Room opens for auction log-in and for mail-in fish shipments to be registered. This room is closed to the public until 10:30 AM.
10:30 Silent Auction registration ends. Regular Auction registration continues. All items brought in after 11 AM will be placed in the regular auction.
10:30 Powell room opens to the public and Silent Auction buying begins. Silent auction Items will be distributed starting at 5:00 (if you cannot stay until then, please do NOT bid on items in the Silent Auction)
11:00 First program:
12:00 1st Raffle Drawing session
12:30 (Lunch) Break
1:30 Second program:
2:30 Break
2:45 Silent Auction buying ends!!! Items will be distributed starting at 5:00 (if you cannot stay until then, please do NOT bid on items in the Silent Auction)
2:45 Regular Auction – first session
